Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.Role Summary: As a Sr. Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for material handling including inbound, outbound, inventory, and repackaging activities. You will foster a safe working environment, maintain organized cleanliness, and provide feedback on improvement opportunities. The shift hours for this role will be 8:00am to 4:30pm Pacific Time, with potential overtime and weekend hours.Responsibilities:Load and unload delivery vehiclesRepackage materials to meet the distribution requirements for Service PartsOperate several types of powered equipment (forklift, stock chaser, etc.)Identify inventory concerns based on quantity or quality discrepanciesProvide input into safety, quality, and throughput opportunitiesUnderstand and utilize standard workMaintain the proper use of equipmentSupport general material handling request from leadership and team membersParticipate in group efforts to foster an environment based on continuous improvementQualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred2-4 years of experience performing picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operating in a Warehouse or Distribution Center environment (preferred)Prior experience in a warehouse environment (automotive preferred)Previous forklift experience (Raymond MHE preferred)Comfortable with operating an order picker (Cherry Picker) above floor levelAbility to understand tasks and responsibilitiesKnowledge of LEAN practices (5s, Identify Waste, Process Improvements)Led or participated in a continuous improvement projectBasic computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding and compliant to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelinesAbility to stand for 8-12 hours per dayFrequent use of hands to handle materials up to 50 lbs.Required to stoop and kneel to retrieve materials up to 50 lbs. under select racking or floor pile locationsRequired to communicate using telephone or emailAbility to view, read, and interpret documents, safety rules, and standard operating proceduresAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform all duties in the warehouse that may contain dust, high noise, hot and cold weatherFlexible work schedulePay Disclosure: The salary range for this role is $26.87/hr for California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus.
