Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology RN Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience License: NY RN License required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Telemetry Experience required Must-Have: - BLS certification - ACLS certification - Telemetry experience - NYS RN License Description: Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. Provide specialized patient care to adults undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Common procedures include biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, and drain placements. The role involves preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. Responsibilities include work in both PACU and extended stay environments. Interventional radiology plays a crucial role in the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This position requires critical thinking and strong communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is key to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
